ABOUT DOUG'S DUGS
Hi, I’m Douglas, a former greyhound owner and lifelong dog lover based in Howwood, Renfrewshire.
Along with my patner, Vicky, we provide dog boarding and day care from our home, offering a calm and comfortable environment where dogs are treated as part of the family.
While we have a particular soft spot for greyhounds, whippets, lurchers and other sighthounds, we love getting to know dogs of all breeds and personalities. Care is always tailored to the individual dog — whether they are a nervous rescue, a playful youngster, or a senior looking for a quiet retreat.
Our aim is simple: to make your dog feel safe, relaxed and at home while you are away.
MY HOME & SURROUNDINGS
Our home and garden have been inspected by Renfrewshire council, and we are fully licensed and insured to provide pet care services. Either myself or Vicky will always be home during your dog's stay.
Your dog can expect:

Comfy sofas, raised beds and plenty of blankets for nesting

Short gentle walks in the local park for relaxed dogs

Longer countryside walks through nearby fields and hills for energetic dogs

Daily photos and updates so you can see how your dog is getting on
We're located in a peaceful village setting with easy access to beautiful countryside, making it a perfect place for relaxed and happy dogs.

PRICES
DOG BOARDING
When you need to be away, our home boarding service provides a loving, safe environment where your dog can relax and play while you are gone.
We only ever board a maximum of two dogs at any one time and they must be from the same household.
Per night: £30.00 covering a 24 hour period
(2 dogs from same household £50)

DOGGY DAY CARE
Our doggy day care service allows your furry friend to be cared for in a supervised and friendly setting, giving you peace of mind during your busy day.
As with boarding, we only ever care for a maximum of two dogs at any one time and they must be from the same household.
6 hours: £15 | 12 hours: £25.00
